Hahah, I never thought of "toppings" that way. More of something that you order "on top" of your default order, so, basically, in addition to it. So personally, I have no issue with the word. Especially since they do stay on top, albeit very briefly. And personally, I find that boba is the best part of the bubble tea. Tapioca for me, always!
