shower grump
Sep. 15th, 2021 05:19 pmPure nonsense. Ignore my internet -grump, but this one never fails to grind my gears: people going above and beyond to prove their mirthless, outdated point regarding showers. No, it's NOT bad to take a bath at night; No, it DOES NOT lower your blood count; YES, even MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS recommend taking a bath 90 minutes before BED. YOU GET? Because every time I tell someone my back hurts, my head hurts, they all put on their It's Because You Bathe At Night movement and it's super irritating and I've been dealing with this for so many years now. I'm literally considering going to the doctor with THEM and asking, "Is it bad to take a bath at night?" just so they would stop telling me this and then smiling dubiously at them when the doctor says, "NO, you can take a bath whenever you want, woman. Time is a social construct. People said the world was gonna end in 2012, but really? *gravely shakes head* Did it really? No-one accurately knows the age of the universe. There are more than seven billion people out there and half of them take a bath at night. Does it really matter? Bathe at night, bathe at three am, do whatever you want. Spit-spot." *rolls eyes lavishly*
